Mike at the 2010 Ypsilanti Songwriting Festival
Mike was honored to play in the Local Talent Showcase at the 2010 Ypsilanti Songwriting Festival held in Ypsilanti, Michigan on October 2. Hosted by the Ypsilanti District Library in its award-winning library building on Whittaker Rd., it was an amazing experience for Mike, who greatly enjoyed the crowds and the ambience of this wonderful festival. "You just cannot imagine how beautiful this building is until you see it for yourself, and when near Ann Arbor or Ypsi, you really should," said Mike.
Mike's set consisted of eight original songs, some never performed live on ukulele before. His latest song, "Andi," is embedded above and his opening song, "Miracle," which was inspired by American Idol contestant Melinda Doolittle, is posted below:
